Echidna
Echidnas, with their fearsome covering of spikes, elongated snouts and carefully concealed pouch are almost as strange as the Platypus (actually they are the only other egg-laying mammal apart from the Platypus).
In between tearing open logs to raid the grubs with their long, sticky tongue, Echidnas will crawl and burrow across the land to deliver your special message.
